The Asia Clean Energy Coalition (ACEC) is excited to welcome MUFG Bank, Ltd. (MUFG Bank), a consolidated subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. (MUFG), and ib vogt Singapore Pte Ltd as the newest members of its Steering Committee.
This significant expansion of the committee's composition underscores ACEC’s ongoing dedication to fostering a robust, equitable clean energy market across the Asia Pacific region.
MUFG Bank, headquartered in Japan and the first financial institution to join the Steering Committee, brings deep commitment to sustainable energy finance, leveraging its position as a market leader in project finance for renewable energy. ib vogt, based in Germany with operations across Singapore, South Korea, Indonesia, Vietnam, and Japan, adds extensive renewable energy development experience to the committee.
The new members expressed their enthusiasm about joining the Steering Committee.

Established in November 2022 by the Climate Group, the Global Wind Energy Council (GWEC), and the World Resources Institute (WRI), ACEC has been steadfast in its mission to ensure that by 2030, clean energy is accessible, affordable, and accountable at scale throughout the region.
Supported by effective procurement frameworks, regulation, and investment, ACEC is committed to advancing policy change and market reforms. The coalition draws robust support from influential members, including global entities such as Apple, Amazon, Meta, Google, Nike, Samsung Electronics, Cisco, Ingka, and Iberdrola.
